![]() ![]() I've delayed what's already a 50 hour campaign because of this and I feel justifiably annoyed. But, for another example, certain quirks will tell you exactly what they do, and others will just give you random cryptic messages to find out.Īnd when it comes down to another DOZEN hours of grinding a party member up to snuff, yes, this ♥♥♥♥ matters. ![]() If there was at least some damn consistency to this misinformation, maybe it would be acceptable. What it will NOT tell you is that if you only have one party member left, that one can retreat alone without dying. It WILL tell you before going in that if you give up on the quest, one random party member will die on the way out. The Darkest Dungeon is another awful example of that. I understand that misinformation is an important aspect of the game, but it's absolutely unacceptable that the game will tell you certain things, and then completely refuse other, completely random (but important!) information. ![]() The game never told me that an Irrational party member won't allow you to retreat, and that got half of my party killed and nearly got another killed. But when I have to go to the wiki to figure out what something does because the game is unwilling to tell me otherwise, THAT'S a problem. I don't mind that this game has a lot of weird passives, conditions and stuff. ![]()
