In accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act, the Wright County Jail is required to undergo a PREA audit every 3 years. Any person may report any allegation on the behalf of any inmate to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at 1-80 or to The Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center at 1-80. The Wright County Sheriff’s Office will investigate any criminal allegations. The Wright County Jail has a Policy of zero tolerance with regard to sexual abuse and sexual harassment in this facility and will take appropriate affirmative measures to protect all inmates from sexual abuse and harassment and to promptly and thoroughly investigate all allegations of sexual abuse and sexual harassment. In Accordance with the National Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) of 2003. The present Wright County Jail was built in 2009 and has a licensed capacity of 288 inmates.
